Terms of Use

Effective July 19, 2026

These terms cover your use of Cadence, including the Free plan and a Cadence Plus subscription bought on the website through Stripe or, when available, in the iPhone app through Apple.

Using Cadence

You may use Cadence as a guest or create an optional account. You are responsible for the information you submit, keeping account access secure, and using generated lessons with reasonable judgment. Do not use Cadence to break the law, harm another person, interfere with the service, or try to gain access to another learner's data.

Free and Plus access

The Free plan includes the daily learning experience and the limits shown in the app. Cadence Plus raises selected course-generation, coach, lesson-preparation, and fresh audio allowances. Current limits appear before purchase and may be updated with advance notice when practical.

Apple subscriptions

Cadence Plus is available in the iPhone app. Purchases made in the app are handled through Apple. The App Store shows the final price, billing period, local currency, and any introductory offer before you confirm. Payment is charged to the Apple account used for the purchase. A subscription renews according to the terms Apple shows unless you cancel it through Apple.

Manage or cancel Cadence Plus on Apple's subscription page. Cancellation stops the next renewal. Plus remains active through the current paid period, then the account returns to Free access.

If Apple shows a free trial and you are eligible, the trial converts to the displayed paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. Trial eligibility is decided by Apple. Restoring a purchase does not create a second charge.

Refunds

Apple processes App Store charges and refund requests. Request an App Store refund through Apple's purchase support. A refund, revocation, expiration, or other store decision may end Plus access.

For a website charge, contact support@learningcadence.app. Web refund requests are reviewed based on the payment details, applicable rights, and the circumstances of the request. A confirmed refund or subscription cancellation may change Plus access after Cadence receives the verified update from Stripe.

Account deletion and subscriptions

Deleting a Cadence account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel with Apple first if you do not want another renewal. Account deletion removes the account identity and account-saved learning state as described on the account deletion page, even if an Apple subscription is still active.

A de-identified billing-event ledger may retain provider event and transaction identifiers for up to 400 days to prevent duplicate processing and investigate billing delivery. See the Privacy Policy for the complete deletion and retention summary.

Before deleting an account with active web billing, Cadence asks Stripe to cancel every non-ended web subscription. If Stripe cannot confirm that step, account deletion stops so billing is not left without a way to manage it. Deleting the account removes its saved learning state and access even if a paid period would otherwise remain.

Web subscriptions

Cadence Plus can be bought on this website after you sign into a Cadence account. Stripe hosts checkout and processes the payment. Before you confirm, Stripe shows the final amount, currency, billing period, trial end date when applicable, and the next renewal date. Cadence does not receive or store your full card number or CVC.

First-time web subscribers receive the 7-day trial shown at Checkout. After the trial, the selected monthly or annual plan renews until canceled. Open your Cadence account to manage web billing. Cancellation stops the next renewal, while Plus remains active through the current paid period.

Generated content

Cadence uses AI systems to create learning content. Generated content can be incomplete or wrong and is not professional medical, legal, financial, or safety advice. Check important information with a qualified source before acting on it.

Shared course links

You may create an unlisted link to a course you can access. Anyone with the link can read its public preview and may add the same course to Cadence. Do not share a course that contains confidential information, violates another person's rights, or contains material you are not allowed to distribute. Unlisted links are not passwords and should not be treated as private storage.

Starting a shared custom course uses the recipient's custom-course allowance shown in the app. Previewing or sending a link does not. A link owner can revoke future access, but revocation does not remove a course already added by another learner. Recipients keep separate progress and may create their own link to the same course content.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Cadence available, but the service may be interrupted for maintenance, provider outages, security work, or circumstances we cannot control. Features may change as Cadence improves. If a material subscription term changes, we will provide notice as required.

Apple terms

Use of the iPhone app is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these terms conflict with mandatory App Store terms, the mandatory App Store terms control for the iPhone app and its purchase.

Privacy and contact

The Privacy Policy explains how Cadence handles data. Questions about these terms or Cadence Plus can be sent to support@learningcadence.app.
