Account Deletion

Cadence accounts are optional. You can keep using Cadence as a guest, and signed-in users can delete their account directly in the app.

Delete in the app

  1. Open Cadence.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Open the Account section.
  4. Choose Delete account and confirm.

This deletes your Cadence account identity, active sessions, and synced learning state. The app then returns to guest mode on that device.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email support@learningcadence.app from the account email address when possible. Include "Cadence account deletion" in the subject so we can route the request.

What is deleted

  • Account identity records and sign-in sessions.
  • Synced course, lesson progress, streak, saved lesson, artifact, and feedback state tied to the account.
  • Password reset and email verification tokens tied to the account.

What may remain

  • Local guest data on devices where you keep using Cadence as a guest.
  • Website waitlist or support messages unless you ask us to delete those too.
  • Short-lived operational logs retained for security and reliability.
